Gabriella and choose a traditional Catholic Church Wedding in Cheltenham followed by a fun and laid back reception at The Barn at Berkeley.
Gabriella was a huge lover of flowers and wanted an abundance for her early summer wedding. Pink and white was her colour of choice and as there wedding took place in May beautiful fluffy and seasonal peonies had to take centre stage! These were teamed with sweet peas, stocks roses and cow parsley making for seasonal and whimsical weeding flower arrangements.
Within the church two giant arrangements sat on plinths at the alter provided the backdrop for the ceremony. These beautifully set the stage for the ceremony, photo backdrops and that all important first kiss!
Gabriella and her bridesmaids carried hand tied bridal and bridesmaids bouquets in pinks and whites. The bridesmaids carried bouquets which where similar the the brides making for a cohesive style. We opted to make these slightly larger so that they could form table centres for 5 of the wedding reception tables. The bouquets were all finished with trailing ribbon and these complimented the pink bridesmaid dresses perfectly.
When it came to the wedding reception at The Barn at Berkeley a barn full of beauty and fun was the order of the day! The long mantel provided the backdrop for the reception table. This was decorated with a whimsical mantel arrangement with greenery, pink and white flowers. The style was fed through to the top table. On this long top table a table scape was created with candles, table runner and bud vases of florals.
For the round guest tables wooden slices were decorated with bud vases sat on wooden slices and elevated with candles. So as to utilise the bridesmaids bouquets these were also incorporated into some of the tables which was a fantastic way to better manage the wedding flowers budget.
Gabriella’s styled was perfect for the bride who loves blush natural wedding flowers!
